Each year, an average of 6,500 Quebecers are diagnosed with prostate cancer, or 18 men per day. It is the most common male cancer and nearly 1,000 men in Quebec will die from the disease this year.
For over 20 years, we have implemented several initiatives meeting the needs of people affected by prostate cancer, either through large-scale research projects or through our toll-free medical assistance line available 7 days a week through North America (1-855-899-2873), and thanks to your generosity, we continue our efforts.

Extension of the deadline for reporting 2024 charitable donations
The governments of Canada and Quebec have extended until February 28, 2025, the period for making tax-deductible donations for the 2024 tax year. (Federal announcement / Provincial announcement)
This measure aims to offset the impact of the postal service interruption at the end of 2024, allowing charities such as PROCURE to better process donations essential to their mission.
By donating to PROCURE, regardless of the amount, you will automatically receive an official donation receipt by email that will allow you to claim a charitable donation tax credit on your next income tax return.
Double your impact on research - EXTENDED
Donate by February 28, 2025, and our partner iA Financial Group will double the value of your donation to PROCURE, up to a maximum of $40,000.
FUNDING CUTTING-EDGE RESEARCH
PROCURE has committed to investing a total of $1 million from 2024 to 2026 to fund four new cutting-edge research projects aimed at achieving major advances in treatments for prostate cancer patients, in order to save lives.
Thanks to the generosity of our network, over the past 20 years, PROCURE has donated more than $12 million for prostate cancer research.

PROCURE is increasing its efforts to establish solid partnerships with leading organizations.
In 2022, we collaborated with the Cedars Cancer Foundation and the Terry Fox Foundation, entities recognized for their significant contribution to research and support for cancer patients, to set up a research grants program for young researchers.
In 2023, we joined forces with the Foundation of the Quebec Urological Association and the Canadian Urological Association Scholarship Foundation, expanding our network of specialists and improving our impact on the medical community.
In 2024, we partnered with the Cancer Research Society to support cutting-edge research initiatives and advance science to provide innovative solutions to patients and their families.
