Each year, an average of 6,700 Quebecers are diagnosed with prostate cancer, or 18 men per day. It is the most common male cancer, and nearly 1,000 men in Quebec will pass from the disease this year.
Since 2003, our organization has implemented several initiatives to meet the needs of people affected by prostate cancer, including funding large-scale research projects and offering a toll-free medical helpline 7 days a week (1-855-899-2873). ALLIANCES FOR PROGRESS
PROCURE is increasing its efforts to establish strong partnerships with leading organizations.
In 2022, we collaborated with the Cedars Cancer Foundation and the Terry Fox Foundation, entities recognized for their significant contributions to cancer research and patient support, to establish a research fellowship program for young researchers.
In 2023, we joined forces with the Foundation of the Quebec Urological Association and the Canadian Urological Association Scholarship Foundation, expanding our network of specialists and improving our impact in the medical community.
In 2024, we partnered with the Cancer Research Society to support cutting-edge research initiatives and advance science to provide innovative solutions to patients and their families.
