Each year, 25 900 men in Canada are diagnosed with prostate cancer, making it the most common cancer in men. Nearly 5,000 Canadians will die from the disease this year.
Over the years, we have put forward several initiatives meeting the needs of people affected by prostate cancer, either through large-scale research projects or through our support service available 7 days a week through North America, and, thanks to your generosity, we continue our efforts.

RESEARCH GRANTS PROGRAM FOR YOUNG RESEARCHERS
In partnership with the Foundation of the Quebec Urological Association and the Canadian Urological Association Scholarship Foundation, we are committed to investing more than $300,000 over the next three years (2023-2026) in a research grants program for young researchers across the country.
These grants aim to finance innovative research projects in Quebec and Canada, thus paving the way for new advances in the understanding and treatment of prostate cancer. Through this initiative, we aspire to encourage young scientists to explore diverse fields, from basic research to clinical research, to establish concrete solutions for patients and their families.
Thanks to the generosity of our network, over the past 20 years, PROCURE has donated more than 12 million dollars for prostate cancer research.
